For you flower arrangers this is just what you have been waiting for! A mix of lemon, gold and crimson flowers all with black centres. 6ft (1.8m)

Surely a plant that needs no introduction. Worthy of a place in any garden and a favourite for children to grow. Incidentally, an ideal plant to grow in a large clump at the foot of large trees or near the edge of a pool. They are surprisingly tolerant of partial shade. There are now also plenty of varieties that are great for cutting – big and dramatic and, of particular interest to the writer – no skill required for arranging! Just stick them in a (large) vase.
